This page is maintained by Aiaia Tarot to answer common privacy questions about the site. We try to collect only what we need and to be honest about why we hold it.

1. What we collect

• Account: your email address and any information you provide when signing in.
• Readings: the question you ask, the hemisphere you choose, the cards drawn for you, and the interpretation generated.
• Payments: a record of your purchase (product, amount, date). Your full card details never touch our servers — they go directly to Stripe.
• Technical: basic request data (IP address, browser, pages viewed) used to keep the site working and secure.

2. Why we use it

• To deliver the reading, guidebook, or subscription you paid for.
• To let you sign in and see your past readings.
• To answer support questions and prevent fraud or abuse.
• To meet legal obligations such as tax and accounting records.

3. Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We share only what's necessary with the service providers that help us run the site:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
• AI model providers — the question you send to Circe is passed to an AI model to generate your reading. It is not used to train third-party models.

4. Cookies

We use only the cookies and local storage required to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We don't run advertising trackers.

5. Retention

We keep your account and reading history for as long as your account is open. Purchase records are kept for as long as legally required. You can request deletion at any time — see below.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us using the contact route on the site.

7. Security

Data is stored on managed infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and never stored on our servers. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

8. Children

Aiaia Tarot is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards to protect your information.

10. Changes

We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be signalled by updating the date at the top of this page.
